radio works great, alerted me of a tornado we had in the area a few weeks ago, The only thing is, is the knob on the hand crank broke off on the 3rd day, so don't use it unless it is really needed. the antenna is also very cheap, broke after a few months. but battery life is very good. uses a common USB cord, and you can plug it into any computer, or USB AC adapter. today was the first time i charged it in a month. and it didn't need it.
