Cold Steel AK-47 Knife
The Cold Steel AK-47 Knife was built for hard, rugged use. The G-10 handle offers a vigorous grip that is tough, rigid and incomparably strong. It comes with a unique pommel made out of 6061 aluminum. The pommel features a lanyard hole and can also serve as a "less than lethal" percussion tool in a self-defense situation. The hollow ground blade is honed by hand until they reach levels of sharpness only seen on a surgeon's scalpel. It is made from Japanese AUS 8A stainless steel, then vacuum heat-treated and sub zero quenched for maximum toughness. The blade is coated with black Teflon for corrosion resistance, to enhance cutting power and to improve edge retention by reducing friction. To assure easy access, and swift operation, it comes with an ambidextrous pocket clip and our new, patented thumb plate. The thumb plate allows the knife to be drawn and quickly opened by snagging it on the edge of a pocket, or used like a conventional thumb stud or disc for easy, one-handed opening.

this knife is tough,sharp, and tactical. the blade is good for cutting and pucturing. after lots of use of constant cutting the paint will come off but not the edge, its all a part of earning its stripes. its a really dependable in so many ways not to mention that the handle of the knife has a lanyard hole which in an emergency can be used to hammer or use it as a non lethal weapon. overall it earns its name as an ak 47
