This air rifle is a real weapon not a toy. Out of the box I shot three 10 shot strings with three different weights of pellets. The best was a JSB 33.9 gr pellet which had an average of 670 fps and had a Standard Deviation of 1.7 and the group could be covered with a dime which is Outstanding!!!! This is my second Marauder and this is a Gen 2 so I have high expectations after watching some YouTube videos of the Gen 2 Marauders. The rifle has a nice two stage trigger and is adjustable for weight and travel. The adjustable cheek piece is a real plus because my other Gen 1 Marauder doesn't have one. The rifle will give about 20 shots before the velocity drops significantly when filled to 2900 PSI to start. I would recommend that any one getting started in PCP air guns get a Shoe Box or a booster pump with a carbon fiber tank - it will make shooting much more enjoyable. This rifle is an excellent PCP air rifle and I highly recommend it for hunting and target shooting. The 33.9 gr pellet will pass through 2 sheets of 3/4 inch plywood so be careful.
