Coleman 9" Plastic Tent Stakes:I actually use the tent stakes for a different purpose. I rescued a dog about a year ago and she kept trying to slip under the chain-link fence in the backyard. I tried thin metal stakes, but they bent and came out of the ground when it rained. All she had to do was push on the fence and they popped out of the ground. My dad suggested tent stakes, so I looked into it and found these. They work like a CHARM! I hammer them into the ground and the fence won't move! Even better, there is no chance my pup is escaping (even though she still tries). I figure if it works for this, it must work with tents!
