Coleman Montauk 5 lb Sleeping Bag:Just as the title of my review says, this bag is warm and toasty and quite comfortable. But it will be very hard to put it back in the original-sized sac. The main problem with fit is that the sleeping bag itself looks fairly compact in the store. It is quite heavy for the size, but for short backpacking, that weight really isn't all that important. The problem though is trying to pack up quickly and compact the sleeping bag back into the supplied sac so it fits where you were attaching it originally. The sac itself is expandable with a longitudinal zipper. But that expands the sac and it takes massive strength and technique to roll the sleeping bag up into a compact enough size to fit the sac with that zipper up. If you don't zip up the zipper a priori, then there's no way to zip up the zipper later even with 3 people trying to compress the bag at the same time.Sort of disappointing for such a warm bag. The things that really are irritating are:1. expands and very hard to get back into the small size.2. material safety tags sewn into zipper seams that get caught on the "no snag" zipper3. just some compression string. No compression straps on bag or sac.4. pretty heavy for a bag in this class (10 - 30 F)I'm not on the lookout for a better sac with compression straps that will fit.
