Unit was smaller than I thought and "high powered" may be overstating a little. It does the job, but it's very noisy (think overamped hair drier). Manual says to not run it more than 5 minutes continuously, but it takes at least that long to inflate a medium-sized pool lounger. So far it hasn't been an issue, so just have to keep an eye on it.Power cord is super long--very handy. Sort of don't like that you have to hold down the power switch, but understand why they made it that way.
