I recently purchased this new scope and put it on a .270 win. This scope performed flawlessly, I sighted it in at 100 yards, and took it hunting. The first shot I took with this scope at an animal was at 320 yards, I placed the second circle of the BDC reticle on the shoulder of a large South Texas whitetail and squeezed. I had never shot this gun passed 100 yards, and the whitetail dropped at 320 yards. I am true believer in the Nikon BDC reticle.Happy Hunting
