We did showers and hair washes for 4 people. It worked flawlessly. The one unit heater is PLENTY of heat for summer camping. It is capable of heating just fine. Put your water almost as high as the shower head and it has plenty of volume. It was our most popular appliance. Well designed, simple, rugged. The propane and the batteries lasted for the week, there seems to be plenty left.
