I have used this detector for about a month now it is a very good machine for a beginner. One of the features i like is the sensitivity control and Discrimination and also has a headphone connection which all work great. It does have some problems detecting in sand not unless i am doing something wrong. All in all it is a great detector i have found numerous clad coins and lots of other items. But you must read the manual carefully and understand your detector but yes i do like it.
