Bounty Hunter Fast Tracker Metal Detector:Purchased this unit after loosing several practice arrows in a hay field behind the house. If not found, these arrows could end up in hay bales, and then horses stomachs. The arrows are graphite with a small, steel, temporary, 100 grain point. After receiving the unit and reviewing instructions briefly, I started sweeping through the hay and found my arrows during the first pass. I also found an old aluminum arrow (not mine) which had been in the field for years--it was buried. An old aluminum beverage can was also discovered about 10" deep while I had discrimination turned on. LOTS of ferrous metal--big and very small pieces--turned up with discrimination turned off. One drawback: While wearing ear phones in conjunction with this unit the VOLUME IS TOO HIGH at times unless you are hard of hearing, use an in-line volume control, or pull them slightly off your ears.
